I’m really enjoying the demo of the game and wanted to share a few suggestions and quality-of-life improvements that could make the experience smoother, more intuitive, and more immersive.
Review stars on Welp: Make the review/rating stars more visible and easier to read at a glance.
Clearing circle size: Keep the clearing circle at the size that was previously selected instead of resetting it when using the tool again.
Accessory collision circles: Allow a smaller collision/placement circle for accessories so decorations can be placed in tighter spaces.
Lift usage information: Add an information panel explaining why guests are choosing one lift over another. For example, if almost everyone is using the lift on the right side of the mountain while the left lift is barely used, it would be helpful to understand why.
Landscape/table background: Add the possibility of changing the background/table environment to a landscape setting. This could make the resort feel much more immersive.
Parking area: Add the possibility of building a parking area at the bottom of the resort that needs to be monitored and managed for available spaces.
Picnic tables and snow: When placing a picnic table, remove the snow underneath it and create an appropriate hole/cleared area in the ground.
Guest collision with decorations: Guests should not be able to walk through solid decorations such as picnic tables.
Trail endings: Add a way to clearly indicate where trails end, such as with flags, fences, or another visible marker. This would help prevent guests from accidentally skiing into unsafe areas.
Trail closure: Allow individual trails to be closed when their conditions become too dangerous, rather than requiring broader resort closures.
Grooming while guests are still skiing: I noticed that grooming could start while guests were still coming down the trail. It would be safer if the game ensured that guests had cleared the trail before grooming begins, or having the ski patrol closing sections of trails when the snowcat is working.
Lift closing time: Allow lifts to be closed in smaller time increments. For example, being able to close a lift at 20:50 instead of only scheduling closures in one-hour increments would give the final skiers time to finish their runs while allowing the grooming team to start sooner.
Queue placement: Give the player more control over where lift queues/lines are positioned. Currently, guests can form a line directly on the trail in what feels like a random location.
Thanks and looking forward for the release !
