Change the European Trail/Difficulty Colors
The orange is used only in some resorts to mark an ungroomed off-piste itinerary, not really a “ski piste” and it doesn’t depend on the steepness or difficulty.
Better change it to Green (Easy), Blue (Int.) , Red (Difficult) and Black (Very Difficult). As this is the most accepted and used system in Europe.
In some countries/resorts they just skip the Green color.(Ex Austria). And only use 3 colors.

Linked to Green Slope Option, Snow Park Option, and a Map (for example when you click M)

I just worry that could be a bit too complicated for new players who just want to start playing if every region has their own colours.

Yes of course I understand, I’m not saying to do any region based color system based on location.
In the menu you can select which system you prefer (I think you can choose between american, european and japan. The automatic system and the one you start is set to the American model . So it is indepent of location. So shouldn’t be much of a worry.
I’m just saying that the European system already ingame if you select it on the options, would be better to change it to the most used system and make it easier. (also the orange thing is kinda not correct and misleading but is okey) Hope it helps :)

Correction I believe it will be independent of location but hadn’t tried yet ofcourse. But still, you can choose what to prefer :)

I think its that they want this to be the new European setting as opposed to Blue Red Black Orange. I’ve personally only skiied on Green-Blue-Red-Black resorts.
Having the option to use your preferred system across different maps seems like its actually more forgiving for new players from different parts of the world. I think the only players who would realistically benifit from not having the option to choose would be non-skiiers. But as long as there is a default option then people wont need to worry about different systems

yes exactly. Green Blue red black is what should be ingame hope they change it.

I mean it is a bit more nuanced. There are no universal gradings, and it looks like the current grading of blue would be too steep for green. So it would only really work by shifting up the maximum gradients of Blue, Red and Black to make room for a green thats less than the current Blue
